As a victim of both domestic abuse and workplace sexual harassment, Lisa founded DomesticViolenceAid.org to share advice and resources to help women and children escape abusive relationships.

Lisa knows how hard it is to escape domestic abuse, especially when you have no one to turn to. This is why she started this DVA to let victims know where to find services and counselling for faster escape and recovery.

Lisa struggled through the perfect storm, as a work visa immigrant to a USA tech startup, beginning a new life, seeking new friends and colleagues, Lisa had only just escaped an abusive romantic relationship, to find herself in a dark place where her work visa sponsor attempted to blackmail her for sexual favors.
